Significantly Improved Resident Access Through Expanded National Tax Civil Services
Cheongdo County (County Mayor Kim Hasu) announced on the 4th that the Cheongdo Civil Service Office of the Gyeongsan Tax Office has been expanded, relocated, and opened at the Cheongdo County Records Center (the former Seoul City Document Preservation Office).
With this expansion and relocation of the civil service office, residents of Cheongdo County can now handle a wider range of national tax services related to property, including capital gains tax and inheritance and gift tax, in addition to the existing national tax civil services, at a nearby location.
Until now, residents of Cheongdo County had to visit the Gyeongsan Tax Office in person for national tax work, which caused inconvenience. However, with this expanded opening, accessibility and convenience in using national tax administration services are expected to improve significantly.
Cheongdo County has been in continuous consultation with the Gyeongsan Tax Office to reduce inconvenience for residents and improve the quality of administrative services, and has spared no administrative support, including securing the new site, to obtain a larger and more pleasant office space.
Kim Hasu, County Mayor of Cheongdo, said, "We expect that the expansion of national tax civil services will greatly reduce inconvenience for residents," adding, "We will continue to actively attract administrative services closely related to residents' daily lives and do our best to implement administrative improvements that people can truly feel."
