Hanwha Vision Obtains International Certification for AI Management System Standards

Certification Ceremony Held on February 2

Hanwha Vision announced on February 3 that it has obtained ISO/IEC 42001 certification, the international standard for the responsible operation of artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The certification ceremony was held on February 2 at the Hanwha Vision Pangyo R&D Center.

ISO/IEC 42001 is an international standard for AI management systems established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It defines management frameworks and requirements to ensure that organizations developing, providing, or utilizing AI-based products or services operate their AI systems responsibly and safely.

Hanwha Vision achieved this certification by meeting the international standard’s requirements in key areas such as the establishment, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of its AI management system. As a result, the company’s AI operational framework has been recognized as meeting global standards, securing differentiated reliability and transparency in the video security market.

Based on this certification, Hanwha Vision plans to proactively respond to changes in the global AI regulatory environment, including the European Union’s AI Act and other foundational AI laws. The company aims to continue technology innovation based on trust by consistently monitoring and improving its AI management system.
