According to Dongkook Pharmaceutical on January 30, it has recently been confirmed that counterfeit versions of major products from its dermacosmetic brand Centellian24-including Madeca Cream Tight Lifting, Madeca Cream Time Reverse, Madeca Cream Active Skin Formula, The Madeca Cream, and Melacapture Ampoule Pro-are being distributed, mainly through certain open markets.

These counterfeit products closely resemble the genuine items in appearance, making it difficult for consumers to distinguish between them. Since the exact ingredient information of these products cannot be verified, applying them directly to the skin could cause serious adverse effects, so caution is needed.

Dongkook Pharmaceutical has prepared informational materials to help consumers distinguish between the counterfeit and genuine products currently in circulation and is actively sharing this information. In addition, the company is strengthening ongoing monitoring of online distribution channels, including open markets, and plans to protect consumers by taking legal action against sellers of counterfeit products.
