The council members signed the integrity pledge and jointly recited the declaration, promising to: ▲ prohibit the acceptance of unjust benefits such as money or entertainment; ▲ foster an organizational culture of mutual respect without abuse of power; ▲ eradicate improper solicitation and brokerage; ▲ strictly comply with the code of conduct for public officials. They also expressed their commitment to anti-corruption and integrity both internally and externally.

Chairman Baek Seunghung stated, "Integrity is fundamental to legislative activities and the starting point for citizens' trust," and urged, "I ask that all council members and staff continue to ensure that integrity is not just a one-time declaration, but is practiced consistently in daily life."

In addition, the Jinju City Council has achieved a Level 2 rating for integrity for three consecutive years, from 2023 to 2025, in the comprehensive integrity evaluation of metropolitan and basic local councils conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. The council continues to achieve excellent results through ongoing institutional improvements and self-regulation efforts.

The council plans to continue building a transparent and fair institution trusted by citizens through regular integrity education, internal inspections, and practical anti-corruption policies.
