Hwaseong City Appoints Six Special Advisors to Strengthen Policy Expertise

On January 29, Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that it had newly appointed six special advisors at the Dongtan Branch Office to strengthen policy expertise.

The special advisors appointed on this day are experts in six fields: general administration, corporate support, small and medium-sized enterprises, artificial intelligence (AI), basic social policy, and climate and energy. They will provide policy advice and support the development of city administration.

The special advisors by field are as follows: General Administration - Jang Minki, Chairman of MK Gloria Co., Ltd.; Corporate Support - Jung Jaegil, former Director of Corporate Support Policy at Hwaseong City; Small and Medium-sized Enterprises - Lee Giwon, CEO of Shinwoo Electronics Co., Ltd.; AI - Cho Jaegwang, Attorney at Primus Law Office; Basic Social Policy - Lee Minwoo, Professor at the School of Health Sciences, Korea University; Climate and Energy - Jang Dongbin, Policy Chair of the Gyeonggi Environmental Movement Association.

The city plans to strengthen its professional advisory system for major policy areas through the appointment of these special advisors and to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of its policies and their implementation.
