This year, the city will allocate a total project budget of 766,666,000 won. Within the support limits for each item, 50% of the cost will be subsidized by the province and the city, while the remaining 50% must be covered by the applicant.
Eligible applicants are registered farmers who have been residing in Gyeonggi Province since before January 1 of last year and are cultivating farmland within the province. Supported items include:
▲ Walk-behind cultivators
▲ Ride-on cultivators
▲ Small tractors
▲ Power carriers
▲ Threshers for field crops
▲ Electric pruning shears
▲ Electric sprayers
▲ Aerial work platforms
▲ Agricultural product workbenches, among others.
In particular, the city has increased the subsidy unit price for cultivators, which are in the highest demand among farmers, to up to 1.75 million won per unit, and expanded the support for tractors to models with up to 60 horsepower.
Applicants should visit the administrative welfare center in the township, town, or neighborhood where their farmland is located to apply.
