Kennel Cleaning, Dog Walks, and More... 20 Million Won Donation Delivered
Lotte Hotel & Resort announced on January 29 that it carried out a volunteer activity for the protection of abandoned dogs together with table tennis player Shin Yubin, who serves as the global ambassador for Lotte Hotel.

This volunteer activity took place the previous day at the Pocketmong Center, an animal shelter in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. Shin Yubin and employees of Lotte Hotel participated together. The participants helped provide emotional stability for the shelter dogs through feeding, walking, and bonding activities, and also worked on cleaning the kennels and improving the overall environment of the shelter. Lotte Hotel & Resort also donated 20 million won to the Pocketmong Center to support shelter operations and facility improvements.
Since being appointed as the global ambassador for Lotte Hotel in March 2024, Shin Yubin has been delivering warm messages by participating in social contribution activities such as coal briquette sharing events. She said, "It was an especially meaningful day for me to be able to take part in a volunteer activity that I had always wanted to experience, together with Lotte Hotel & Resort," adding, "I hope to continue participating in meaningful activities in the future."
A representative from Lotte Hotel & Resort added, "We will continue to empathize with various social issues, including the protection of abandoned animals, and strive to realize ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management values through activities that provide tangible support to our members and the local community."
