[Conference Call] SK Hynix: "HBM4 Mass Production on Track... Maintaining HBM3E-Level Yield"

On January 29, during its earnings conference call for the fourth quarter of last year, SK Hynix stated, "Through close collaboration with our clients, new products have been launched in a timely manner. Mass production of HBM4 (6th-generation high-bandwidth memory) has also been proceeding as scheduled since the mass production system was established in September last year, following timelines agreed upon with our clients," adding, "We are aiming to maintain the same level of yield as demonstrated by HBM3E."

An SK Hynix representative further explained, "Although the first quarter is typically a seasonal off-peak period, demand from customers remains strong." The representative added, "However, due to limited supply conditions, DRAM shipments are expected to remain at last year's level, while NAND shipments are projected to decrease slightly due to the base effect."
