CGV Joins "Gyeonggi Culture Pass" for Second Year, Offers Up to 60,000 Won Annual Support per Person

CJ CGV announced on January 28 that it will participate for the second consecutive year in the "Gyeonggi Culture Pass" program, organized by Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization.

The Gyeonggi Culture Pass is a consumer support initiative designed to expand opportunities for Gyeonggi residents to enjoy arts and culture. Following its participation in last year's pilot program, CGV is once again joining this year, increasing both the scale of support and the range of eligible content.

First, the annual support limit per person has been raised from 25,000 won to 60,000 won. Users can receive a discount of either 6,000 won or 10,000 won on movie tickets at CGV, depending on the ticket price.

The scope of benefits has also been expanded beyond standard theaters to include special technology auditoriums such as the multi-sensory "4DX" and multi-screen "ScreenX" theaters. Non-movie content enjoyed in theaters, such as live sports broadcasts and concert films, is also eligible for discounts.

The usage process is simple. After downloading the Gyeonggi Culture Pass mobile app, completing membership registration, and verifying Gyeonggi residency, users will receive a discount coupon. By registering this number in the CGV app, the discount can be applied directly when booking tickets.
