RF Tech, a company specializing in IT components, announced on January 27 that it has signed a comprehensive MOU with Grace, a beauty distribution group, for collaboration in the beauty device business. The two companies plan to collaborate extensively, from joint product development to pioneering new markets, with the goal of elevating the status of K-beauty in the beauty device sector.

RF Tech will focus on technology development and production of beauty devices by combining its IT expertise, built over more than 20 years of supplying components to global manufacturers, with the skin and beauty know-how of its subsidiary, RF Bio. In particular, the company aims to maximize product quality and reliability by positioning areas closely related to its core IT component manufacturing business as a new growth engine. Alongside its existing main business of manufacturing electronic devices such as mobile phone chargers, RF Tech has been continuously exploring new beauty ventures to secure long-term growth drivers.

Through this MOU, the company plans to accelerate its efforts to capture the global beauty device market by leveraging Grace’s distribution and marketing capabilities. RF Tech intends to enhance its market competitiveness by combining its precision manufacturing expertise with Grace’s design and trend analysis know-how. The two companies have agreed to establish a comprehensive cooperation system that goes beyond simple product supply, encompassing new market development and joint marketing initiatives.

Grace, the largest vendor for Olive Young, will leverage its strong network and expertise in design and marketing within the domestic and international H&B sector to lead the market. The company has a network of approximately 50,000 on- and offline stores in Korea and more than 20,000 stores across 31 countries overseas. With an IPO scheduled for this year, Grace has maintained annual sales growth of over 30%. The company views this collaboration as a catalyst to accelerate its “Quantum Jump Project,” aiming for annual sales of 300 billion won this year.

A representative from RF Tech stated, “We plan to actively utilize Grace’s unrivaled distribution channels and marketing capabilities for rapid market entry,” adding, “We are also actively considering introducing a product rental business model in partnership with major domestic rental companies.”
