The Smart Work Center is located next to the Open Narae Cafe at City Hall and covers an area of 38 square meters. It operates on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

With the opening of the center, it is expected that employees working at remote offices, such as branch offices and towns, will experience significantly less inconvenience in their work.

When visiting the main office, employees can use the Smart Work Center to handle work immediately, minimizing administrative gaps caused by travel and ensuring continuity of work. This flexible work environment, which reduces time and space constraints, is expected to bring about an overall change in work practices.

Kim Jangho, Mayor of Gumi, stated, "The Smart Work Center is a symbolic space representing the administrative innovation Gumi City pursues," adding, "I hope the center will be practically utilized in the field and contribute to enhancing the city’s competitiveness in municipal administration."
