CJ ENM Selects '2026 Visionary' Award Winners Including Lim Yoona and Park Boyoung

Awards Ceremony to Be Held in Sangam-dong on February 10

On January 27, CJ ENM announced the winners of the "2026 Visionary" awards, which present the future vision of the K-Entertainment industry.

"Visionary" is an annual awards ceremony established by CJ ENM in 2020 to recognize individuals or works that have inspired the entertainment industry. This year, the focus was on "characters," which are the core of intellectual property (IP) competitiveness, and the "character builders" (planners and creators) who bring them to life.

The winners were selected from six productions: the dramas "The Tyrant's Chef," "Marry My Husband," "Unknown Seoul," "Severance: Disconnection," "Study Group," and the variety show "Boys 2 Planet."

For "The Tyrant's Chef," which ranked No. 1 in Netflix's Non-English TV Show category, actors Lim Yoona and Lee Chaemin, as well as director Jang Taeyoo, were chosen. For "Marry My Husband," which was a simultaneous hit in Korea and Japan, actress Park Minyoung, Japanese lead Sato Takeru, and Studio Dragon producer Son Jayoung were named. "Unknown Seoul" honored actress Park Boyoung and writer Lee Kang, while TVING original "Study Group" recognized actor Hwang Minhyun and director Lee Janghoon.

Global achievements were also considered. The American drama "Severance: Disconnection," produced by Fifth Season under CJ ENM and winner of the Emmy Awards, saw actor Adam Scott and producer Nicholas Weinstock included on the list. The group "ALPHA DRIVE ONE," formed through Mnet Plus audition show "Boys 2 Planet," along with producer Kim Shinyoung, were also recognized.

A CJ ENM representative stated, "We selected those who achieved outstanding results with original characters and stories across all fields, including broadcasting, film, and music, last year," adding, "We will continue to present a future vision for a sustainable K-content industry."

The awards ceremony will take place on February 10 at the CJ ENM Center in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul.
