XL8 "EventCAT" Surpasses $1 Million in Revenue Last Year

Quarterly Revenue Doubles at Maximum
40% of Users Are New Customers

XL8, a global simultaneous interpretation and translation artificial intelligence (AI) specialist, announced on January 26 that its translation and interpretation solution, "EventCAT," has surpassed 1 million dollars in annual revenue. This milestone represents a 1,250% increase compared to the previous year, and the solution has continued to show steady growth since its launch in June 2023.

EventCAT is an AI-powered simultaneous interpretation and translation solution tailored for business meetings, lectures, and large-scale conferences. Its proprietary AI engine is trained on over 20 years of expert-curated data, enabling it to predict and analyze expressions suitable for different ages and genders, and to deliver consistent translation quality. To date, it has been used by more than 1,000 leading global companies and institutions, and supports over 50 languages.

Last year, EventCAT was utilized for more than 30,000 hours at online and offline events worldwide. Real-time interpretation and translation for online meetings accounted for a quarter of this usage, while there were approximately 7,000 conference sessions. New users made up about 40% of all users, and quarterly revenue grew by up to 100% compared to the previous quarter, demonstrating explosive growth.

XL8 plans to further enhance EventCAT to sustain its growth trajectory. The company aims to improve user convenience by upgrading features for online meetings and conference support.
