Wireless One Connect Box Praised
"Surpassing the Limits of Art TVs"
Gaining Attention from Multiple Local Media Outlets
Samsung Electronics' 'The Frame Pro' TV has been recognized for its product excellence by winning the Innovation Award from CNN Underscored, the product review division of the American broadcaster CNN.
According to Samsung Electronics on January 25, CNN Underscored praised 'The Frame Pro' for "eliminating complicated cables and delivering powerful picture quality, functioning both as a high-quality display and an art frame." The outlet described it as "the first art TV to truly realize 'gallery-like minimalism,' going beyond the limitations of conventional art TVs." CNN Underscored selects innovative products across various categories such as home goods, beauty, and travel, through expert analysis and real-world testing, and presents them with the Innovation Awards 2026.
CNN Underscored highlighted the 'Wireless One Connect Box' as the most significant change. The outlet noted, "With the 'Wireless One Connect Box,' which transmits video and audio signals wirelessly, only the power needs to be connected to the display, eliminating the need for complicated cables or bulky accessories." It further evaluated that this enables a free-floating design, making the screen appear as if it is floating in the air.
CNN Underscored also gave a positive assessment of The Frame Pro's picture quality. The outlet stated, "With the adoption of Neo QLED (Quantum Dot Organic Light-Emitting Diode) technology, contrast and brightness have been greatly improved, and the matte display applied to the product provides stable picture quality not only when appreciating artwork but also when watching TV or movies."
At CES 2026, the world's largest electronics exhibition held in Las Vegas, United States, Samsung Electronics showcased its 'The Frame' lineup, attracting significant attention from local media outlets.
Business Insider, a leading American business magazine, selected the 98-inch The Frame as one of the 'most anticipated display trends of 2026,' highlighting it as a leader in the 'ultra-large trend.' Gadget Match, a US-based IT review media outlet, also introduced the 98-inch 'The Frame' as the 'Best of CES 2026.'
Additionally, US IT media outlets Residential Systems and Gadgety also selected The Frame as one of the best products of CES 2026.
Samsung Electronics continues to strengthen its leadership in the art TV industry with The Frame at its core. The company has expanded the 'Samsung Art Store,' an art subscription service first introduced with The Frame TV in 2017, to its major lineups, including QLED, Neo QLED, Micro LED, and Micro RGB (Red, Green, Blue) TVs. Recently, Samsung has also announced plans to expand this service to OLED TVs, aiming to further lead the art TV market.
The Samsung Art Store offers over 5,000 works of art from world-renowned museums, galleries, and artists in 4K quality, allowing users to vividly experience artworks at home as if they were visiting an art museum.
