In his greeting, Mayor Yoon stated, "This book is a record of citizens' lives and the 'Great Transition of Naju' pursued over the past four years, as well as a vision for the 'Great Leap Forward of Naju' that we will complete together with citizens in the future. I tried to capture the voices of citizens I heard in the field, as well as the concerns and choices made during the administrative process, as faithfully as possible."
He continued, "Faced with the task of addressing the diverse needs of countless citizens, I organized the next 100 years of Naju's future one step at a time, based on constant communication with citizens. I asked myself, 'What can I do for the development of my hometown, Naju?' and concluded that what is needed now is to faithfully implement the large-scale projects and current administrative issues that have already been decided, in order to enhance their completeness."
Mayor Yoon emphasized, "Fulfilling the promise of Naju's leap forward made to citizens is both my duty and responsibility as Mayor of Naju. Based on my administrative experience and capabilities built at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, South Jeolla Province, and Naju City, I will do my utmost for the development of Naju and the happiness of its citizens. I hope you will be warm companions in Naju's upcoming brilliant challenges and remarkable progress."
