The Dhaka International Film Festival is the largest film event in South Asia, featuring around 200 films from approximately 60 countries.

The festival is regarded as a prestigious event that breaks away from the focus on commercial films, aiming to promote artistic value and discover new talent, while also leading exchanges with the global film industry.

The award-winning film "Human Supermassive Algorithm" was produced through the collaboration of Daehye, a Buddhist monk and film director (real name Yoo Youngui), and filmmakers from the Gyeongsan region.

The story explores the innate capabilities within human beings through the symbolic concept of a "supermassive algorithm," and it is scheduled for domestic release in the first half of this year.

Gyeongsan City has continuously carried out projects to support film creation and production in order to enhance the competitiveness of local cultural content.

This international film festival award is considered a representative example of how the city's production support has yielded tangible results.

Cho Hyunil, Mayor of Gyeongsan City, stated, "It is very meaningful that content planned and produced in Gyeongsan has been recognized on the world stage. We will continue to strengthen the local creative ecosystem and spare no effort in supporting the ongoing discovery of outstanding content."
