Boseong County Targets 351.4 Billion Won in National Funding by 2027

Report Meeting Held for New Project Discovery
Establishing a Systematic Approach to Securing National Funding

Boseong County in South Jeolla Province announced that it held the "2027 National Budget Securing New Project Discovery Report Meeting" on the 22nd and has officially begun systematic efforts to secure next year's national budget, setting a target of 351.4 billion won.


The meeting was presided over by Vice Governor Lee Sangcheol and attended by department heads and team leaders. The focus was on comprehensively reviewing the necessity, feasibility, and potential for national budget linkage of new projects that align with Boseong County's mid- to long-term development strategy.

Key projects include the establishment of the Boseong Jonjesan National Honey Plant Specialization Complex, modernization of K-Tea Boseong Matcha facilities, Phase 2 of the Growth Promotion Regional Development Project, maintenance of sewage pipelines in Beolgyo and Hoejeong treatment districts, and development of rural living water supply systems in Nodong and Miryeok districts.


Based on the new projects identified at this meeting, the county plans to further refine project details and strengthen its response strategies by department. This includes establishing step-by-step strategies aligned with central government policy directions and the national budget allocation schedule, as well as enhancing practical reviews, in order to maximize the likelihood of securing national funding.


Lee Sangcheol, Vice Governor of Boseong County, stated, "Securing a stable national budget is a key task for laying the foundation for Boseong County's future growth. We will continue to identify new projects tailored to the county's circumstances through detailed analysis of national and Jeollanam-do policy initiatives, and actively respond to public project selections."
