Hankook Tire & Technology announced on January 23 that it will supply its ultra-high performance electric vehicle tire, the Ventus S1 evo3 ev, as original equipment for the European version of Hyundai Motor Company's next-generation hydrogen electric vehicle, 'The All-New NEXO'.

Hankook Tire explained that, as this tire is fitted to a model targeting the European market-which has the world's most stringent standards for energy efficiency and eco-friendliness-it demonstrates the company's innovative technology required for the next-generation hydrogen mobility environment.

The Ventus S1 evo3 ev, supplied in an 18-inch size, is specially designed for hydrogen electric vehicles, offering not only outstanding energy efficiency but also excellent quietness and driving stability.

By adopting the latest compound, the tire dramatically reduces rolling resistance, which has a significant impact on driving range, thereby delivering ideal energy efficiency and durability. Its wide and stable tread block design provides exceptional grip on both wet and dry roads.
