Park Jinyoung and Kim Minju Reunite as First Loves This Spring... JTBC's "Shining" to Air in March

A classic melodrama that will fill living rooms with the bittersweet memories of first love is coming soon. On January 22, JTBC announced that the drama "Shining," starring Park Jinyoung and Kim Minju, will premiere in March.

This series tells the story of a man and a woman who once shared innocent yet heartfelt feelings, reuniting as adults and gradually becoming the light in each other's lives. The script is written by Lee Sukyeon, known for her unique emotional storytelling in the film "One Fine Spring Day" and the drama "On the Way to the Airport." The drama is directed by Kim Yunjin, who has been recognized for her delicate direction in "Our Beloved Summer" and "Tell Me That You Love Me."

Park Jinyoung plays Yeon Taeseo, a subway train operator. With "Just get through today safely" as his life motto, he lives faithfully within the reality given to him. After achieving the independence he longed for and enjoying a peaceful daily life, his tranquil world is shaken when he unexpectedly encounters his long-forgotten first love.

Kim Minju takes on the role of Mo Euna, Yeon Taeseo's first love who shakes up his world. A former hotelier, she now works as the manager of a quiet "old house stay" in Seoul, where her life becomes intertwined with Yeon Taeseo's.
