On January 22, a representative from the POSTECH Startup Support Team stated, "The 'POSTECH ICT, Materials, Components, and Equipment Deep Tech Startup Booster Up IR Demo Day' was held on January 19 at the IR Room of the Seoul Startup Hub Scale-Up Center. This event was organized to solidify POSTECH's deep tech startup ecosystem and to drive the creation of new industries and industrial innovation in the region as part of the Regional Innovation-led University Support System (RISE) project in North Gyeongsang Province.

This program, operated by the professional accelerator Zoomin Partners, began with a talk show featuring a successful entrepreneur, followed by a public IR Demo Day, one-on-one private IR sessions, and networking between investors and entrepreneurs. In the first session, Kim Hyunjun, co-founder and CEO of VUNO-a medical AI company that achieved the first-ever commercialization of an artificial intelligence (AI) medical device and a KOSDAQ listing in Korea-shared insights from his entrepreneurial journey.

During the second session, the public IR Demo Day, five investment review professionals from major domestic venture capital (VC) firms served as judges to evaluate the commercialization potential of the technologies. Seven startups based in POSTECH faculty research labs participated, showcasing their technological capabilities and fundraising strategies.

The startups participating in this Demo Day included Design Intelligence Lab, Machi Bionics, Jenai, Square One, GENOMPATCH, BE Space, and Delight Food, each presenting their innovative technologies.
