Haman County and EM Environmental Project Team Sign Business Agreement for Integrated Care Service

Improving Residential Welfare and Environment for Vulnerable Groups

On January 22, Haman County in South Gyeongsang Province signed a business agreement with the EM Environmental Project Team of the Haman Regional Self-Sufficiency Center to ensure the smooth implementation of the "2026 Haman-Type Integrated Care Project Residential Environment Improvement (Cleaning) Service."

This agreement was established to provide integrated support for care recipients who require residential environment improvement (cleaning), connecting everything from organizing living spaces to post-service management.

The signing ceremony was attended by Haman County Mayor Cho Geunje, Haman Regional Self-Sufficiency Center Director Jeong Hae-chang, and working-level staff. Haman County and the implementing agency agreed to cooperate in all aspects, including identifying and connecting eligible recipients, providing services, and post-service management.

The residential environment improvement (cleaning) service will be operated in two categories based on the situation of each household: "Clean Bus" and "Deep Cleaning." The Clean Bus provides cleaning, organizing, minor repairs, pest control, and waste disposal for care recipients whose living environments are vulnerable due to hoarding, safety risks, or fire hazards. Deep Cleaning is offered to households in need of a safer living environment, providing thorough cleaning, general waste and bulky waste disposal, and organizing services.

An official from the Haman County Welfare Policy Division stated, "Improving the residential environment is an important starting point for helping residents in need of care to recover their daily lives. By linking the Clean Bus and Deep Cleaning services, we aim to raise the level of residential welfare and proactively identify and support residents in need of care, thereby strengthening a sustainable integrated care system."

Meanwhile, the "2026 Haman-Type Integrated Care Project Residential Environment Improvement (Cleaning) Service" will begin in February, with the EM Environmental Project Team of the Haman Regional Self-Sufficiency Center participating as the implementing agency.
