"Supporting Youth Independence with ISA"... Korea Financial Investment Association Wins SIA Korea Huddling Award

The Korea Financial Investment Association announced that it has received the "2026 SIA (Social Impact Awards) Korea Huddling Award" in recognition of the outstanding social impact of its ISA-linked self-reliance support program for young adults preparing for independence.

SIA Korea has been selecting and awarding organizations that have contributed to solving social issues through expert evaluations and citizen voting since last year. SIA Korea is a platform that discovers and highlights organizations leading solutions to social problems and sustainable change, with participation from major public interest groups such as the Community Chest of Korea, World Vision, UNICEF, and Korea Food for the Hungry International, as well as companies and academia.

The "Huddling Award" symbolizes the field of mutual growth and cooperation, and the financial investment industry was highly praised for establishing a collaborative system to help young adults preparing for independence overcome economic barriers to self-reliance.

This award follows the "Commendation for Outstanding Affiliated Organizations" presented by the Seoul Mayor in December last year, reaffirming that this project has established itself as a sustainable model for social contribution.

The association, together with 11 securities companies, is supporting 72 young adults preparing for independence by providing 300,000 won per month through ISA accounts over three years, while also offering financial education and mentoring to help them build assets and achieve economic independence. In 2026, the association plans to expand the project by recruiting additional sponsoring securities companies and young beneficiaries.

Hwang Sungyeop, Chairman of the Korea Financial Investment Association, stated, "This award recognizes the effectiveness of the 'investment-based social contribution model,' which combines the expertise of the financial investment industry with the experience of the social welfare sector." He added, "We will continue to expand the scale of support so that young adults can build assets and achieve economic independence on their own."
