Strengthening Solidarity Among Women Entrepreneurs
Commendations for Members Contributing to the Local Economy
The Gumi Women Entrepreneurs Association in North Gyeongsang Province held its regular general meeting and the inauguration and retirement ceremony for the 11th and 12th presidents on January 21, with around 40 members and guests in attendance.
The event proceeded with farewell and inaugural addresses, congratulatory remarks, and the introduction of the new executive team. In particular, commendations were awarded to members who contributed to the development of the local economy, providing a meaningful opportunity to recognize and encourage the dedication of women entrepreneurs who have consistently achieved results in their respective fields.

Choi Jungja, CEO of Fos Door Co., Ltd., who succeeded Choi Minjeong as the 12th president, stated, "I will strive to create an environment where women entrepreneurs can take pride and embrace challenges, and fulfill the association's role in growing together with the local community."
Kim Youngcheol, Director of Economic Affairs, said, "Despite the challenging domestic and international economic conditions, the determination and passion of women entrepreneurs are an important pillar of Gumi's economy. I hope the association will continue to contribute to the revitalization of local industry and the economy through communication and solidarity."
Meanwhile, since its establishment in 2000, the Gumi Women Entrepreneurs Association has strengthened leadership based on information exchange and a cooperative network among women entrepreneurs. Currently, 39 companies participate, serving as a key pillar of the local economy.
