The donation ceremony, held in the mayor's office on the same day, was attended by Yoonsook Kim, President of the Yongsan District branch, and the executive committee members. They delivered the donation, asking that it be used to help neighbors in need within the community have a warm winter. Yongsan District plans to use the donated funds through the Yongsan Welfare Foundation to support low-income households and vulnerable groups in the area.
Heeyoung Park, Mayor of Yongsan District, said, "I would like to thank the Yongsan District branch of the Korea Association of Realtors for joining in this warm act of sharing for the local community," adding, "We will ensure that the donated funds are delivered with care to neighbors who truly need help so that they can spend a warm winter."
Residents who wish to participate in the "2026 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Campaign" can donate to the Seoul branch of the Community Chest of Korea, a social welfare corporation. For sponsorship inquiries, please contact the Yongsan Welfare Foundation at 02-2074-9191.
