Seungri, a former member of the group Big Bang, has come under suspicion for allegedly attempting to launch what is being called a "second Burning Sun" in Cambodia.

On January 19, a video titled "Exclusive Investigation File by Reporter Oh Hyukjin: Hwang Hana, Seungri, and Park Yoochun" was released on the YouTube channel "Jiritjirit." In the video, reporter Oh stated, "There have been reports that Seungri is associating with money launderers, people involved in voice phishing, and executives from Cambodian crime syndicates, and that he is partying with them."

He also reported that Seungri tried to establish a "second Burning Sun" in Cambodia. Reporter Oh said, "He was trying to start a business in that field, but now even the chairman and everyone else have been arrested," adding, "I am not sure if there is anyone left who can provide Seungri with financial support."

He further explained, "Although Seungri still has some fans in Japan, his reputation in Korea has completely collapsed. In Southeast Asia, however, he still retains the image of being a former Big Bang member, and it seems he tried to use that to prepare for illegal business activities."

Previously, a video was released showing Seungri giving a speech at Prince Brewing, a brand under the Cambodian company Prince Holdings, which has been identified as being behind a Cambodian crime organization. At the time, Seungri said, "When I said I was going to Cambodia, people around me asked if it would be dangerous," and emphasized, "Cambodia is the best country in Asia. I will bring G-Dragon here."
