The newly opened children's playground consists of more than 20 types of large composite play structures made from eco-friendly wood. It has been designed as a themed space that harmonizes with the natural and historical atmosphere of Hwarangseolhwa Village.

In particular, the introduction of large composite playground equipment-rarely found in the region-sets the facility apart from others.

Rest areas (pergolas) for parents have also been created around the playground, allowing family visitors to stay more comfortably.

With the opening of this playground, the range of attractions and activities available to children visiting Hwarangseolhwa Village has been greatly expanded, and significant synergy with existing hands-on and sightseeing content is expected.

Additionally, the new large-scale playground is expected to enhance the village's tourism competitiveness by serving as a venue for group experiences and field trips for children.

A city official stated, "We expect that, with the creation of this children's playground, Hwarangseolhwa Village will take a step forward from being a simple sightseeing destination to becoming a stay-type space where families can spend time and enjoy themselves together," adding, "We will continue to work on creating tourism and relaxation spaces that satisfy both children and parents."
