Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. continues its 'Love S-BOX' sponsorship activities to support children living in difficult circumstances, serving as a role model for the local community.

On January 21, Gwangju Shinsegae held the 2026 Love S-BOX Delivery Ceremony at the Gwangju Shinsegae Grand Training Room.

More than 30 people attended the ceremony, including executives and employees of Gwangju Shinsegae, officials from the Seo District Office, the Western Education Support Office, the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, and Seo District welfare centers.

Gwangju Shinsegae, which began as a local corporation in 1995, has been continuing the Love S-BOX sponsorship since 2017 to promote mutual growth with the local community. The Love S-BOX initiative is carried out through cooperation among Gwangju Shinsegae, the Seo District Office, the Western Education Support Office, the Green Umbrella Children's Foundation, and five welfare centers in Seo District.

Gwangju Shinsegae raises donations, while the Seo District Office and the Western Education Support Office select the children eligible for support. The Green Umbrella Children's Foundation and the welfare centers prepare and deliver customized packages containing daily necessities and snacks needed by the recipients. Gwangju Shinsegae donates 5 million won each month, totaling 60 million won annually. Including this year's donation, the cumulative amount of Love S-BOX sponsorship has reached 600 million won to date.

Lee Donghoon, CEO of Gwangju Shinsegae, said, "We hope that the Love S-BOX sponsorship will help spread the warm spark of hope throughout our community," and added, "Gwangju Shinsegae will continue to support young people living in difficult circumstances so that they can nurture their dreams for a better future."
