Tomorrow (the 21st), a severe cold snap is expected to continue across the country, with morning lows around minus 10 degrees Celsius.
The morning low will range from minus 17 to minus 4 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high is forecast to be between minus 6 and plus 3 degrees Celsius. Most regions will be mostly clear, but the Chungnam region, Jeolla region, and Jeju Island are expected to be mostly cloudy.
Snow is expected to begin in the Jeolla West Coast and Jeju Island from dawn, and in the southern inland of North Jeolla and the central inland of Gwangju and South Jeolla from the morning. From late afternoon, snow is forecast for the northern inland of Chungnam and the central and southern parts of North Chungcheong, and from nighttime, for the western southern coast of South Jeolla as well.
In the Chungnam region, central and southern parts of North Chungcheong, and the Jeolla region (excluding the Jeolla West Coast), there may be places where less than 0.1 cm of snow flurries occur.

The expected snowfall over the two days until the 22nd is as follows: 1 to 3 cm for the five West Sea islands; around 1 cm for Sejong, northern inland Chungnam, and central and southern North Chungcheong; 3 to 8 cm for the southern West Coast of North Jeolla, the West Coast of South Jeolla, and coastal Jeju Island (over 10 cm in some parts of the Jeolla region); 1 to 5 cm for the central inland of Gwangju and South Jeolla, the western southern coast, the northern West Coast of North Jeolla, and the southern inland; 5 to 20 cm for the mountainous areas of Jeju Island (over 25 cm in some places); and 5 to 15 cm for the mid-mountain areas of Jeju Island.
Expected precipitation is as follows: around 1 mm for the five West Sea islands, Sejong, northern inland Chungnam, and central and southern North Chungcheong; 5 to 10 mm for the southern West Coast of North Jeolla and the West Coast of South Jeolla; less than 5 mm for the central inland of Gwangju and South Jeolla, the western southern coast, northern West Coast of North Jeolla, and the southern inland; 10 to 30 mm for Ulleungdo and Dokdo; and 5 to 20 mm for Jeju Island.
Heavy snow of 1 to 3 mm per hour is forecast for the southern West Coast of North Jeolla, the West Coast of South Jeolla, Ulleungdo, Dokdo, and Jeju Island, so caution is advised to prevent safety accidents.
Wave heights are expected to be 1.0 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea nearshore, 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea nearshore, and 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea nearshore. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are forecast to be 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea.
