Focusing on AI and Digital Technology for Future-Oriented Education

The Gangwon Provincial Office of Education Career Education Center (Director Kim Ikjung) is conducting five 'Winter Career Training' courses at the center from January 20 to 23 for 73 elementary, middle, high, and special education teachers in the province.

This career training is a school field-oriented program tailored to the 2022 revised curriculum, designed to strengthen career guidance capabilities in response to changes in the future society, based on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology. The training consists of five courses: advanced woodworking, 3D, career reading and discussion, career physical education, and secondary career education.


Each course includes: advanced woodworking practice using digital design programs (Illustrator) to create traditional soban tables; activities to produce teaching tools using 3D modeling; integrated career reading and discussion with classroom application practice under the theme 'Expanding the Perspective of Care from Myself to Us'; designing school-tailored career physical education classes using PAPS and fitness; and practical career counseling and coaching connecting teachers and students.


Director Kim Ikjung stated, "I hope this winter training will serve as an opportunity to effectively apply career education utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology in the school field," adding, "We will continue to expand field-oriented and customized career education training that supports students in developing future competencies."
