President Lee Jaemyung presented the letter of appointment to Kim Jihyung, the new Chairman of the Economic, Social and Labor Council, at the main building of the Blue House on the 20th, according to the Blue House. Chairman Kim served as a Supreme Court Justice from 2005 to 2011 and is regarded as a leading labor law expert in the legal community. In 2017, he chaired the Public Deliberation Committee for Shin-Kori Nuclear Reactors Units 5 and 6, and in 2018, he led the mediation committee for the Samsung Electronics leukemia issue.
