Hanbat National University has either reduced or frozen undergraduate tuition fees for 19 consecutive years, from 2008 through this year.

However, graduate school tuition will be raised this year by 2.3% for general and professional graduate schools and by 4.3% for special graduate schools (an average increase of 3.19%), with the consent of student committee members.

President Oh Yongjun of Hanbat National University stated, "It is true that the university's financial situation is challenging due to the long-term freeze on undergraduate tuition fees. However, as a national university that must prioritize its social responsibility, we have decided once again to freeze undergraduate tuition this year in order to help reduce the financial burden on households."

He added, "Hanbat National University will overcome these challenges by utilizing budgets for projects such as the National University Development Project and the RISE Project more efficiently, and by actively attracting new government financial support projects."
