Over 200 Vietnamese Students from Six Busan Universities Participate
A Platform for Cultural Exchange and Solidarity
Dong-A University (President Lee Haewoo) announced on January 20 that the "3rd Vietnam International Student Music Talent Competition," targeting Vietnamese students enrolled at universities in the Busan area, was successfully held.

This event was organized and hosted by the Dong-A University Vietnamese Student Association, with international students taking the lead from the preparation stage through to execution.
The competition took place on January 7 at Dawoo Hall, Bumin Campus of Dong-A University. Over 200 Vietnamese students from six universities in Busan-including Dong-A University, Pukyong National University, Dongwon Institute of Science and Technology, Catholic University of Busan, Busan University of Foreign Studies, and Silla University-attended, creating a vibrant atmosphere.
The purpose of this competition was to foster unity and creative exchange among university student associations in Busan through cultural and artistic activities, and to strengthen mutual bonds. A total of 23 teams participated on stage, showcasing their talents through Vietnamese traditional performances and music.
The event was attended by representatives from related organizations, including the International Exchange Division of Dong-A University, the Consulate General of Vietnam in Busan, the Vietnamese Community Association in Busan, the Busan Global City Foundation, and the Jeonbuk Bank Foreigners’ Lounge Center, as well as members of Vietnamese student associations from each university.
Park Hyuntae, Director of the International Affairs Office at Dong-A University, said, "The student association has taken the lead in facilitating communication and exchange among students, and I am deeply grateful for their efforts in successfully preparing a music event like today." He added, "I hope this event will be a meaningful opportunity for you to fully express your passion and talent and to better understand one another." He continued, "We will continue to actively support international students so they can enjoy a stable campus life and pursue their dreams."
Nguyen Thi Thu Quyen, President of the Dong-A University Vietnamese Student Association (Department of International Trade), said, "As the organizing chair of the student association, I am very proud to have led this music competition." She added, "Thanks to the active support of Dong-A University and the participation of several universities in Busan, we were able to successfully complete the event. I hope this competition will continue to serve as a valuable opportunity for students to exchange music and culture in the future."
