Ryu Hongryul, CEO of Bidecs, was appointed as the new vice president, while Lee Hyojin, CEO of Eight Percent, and Lim Gwanwoong, CEO of Jeulgeoun, were appointed as new directors.
Bidecs is a company that supports the use of domestic and international digital asset exchanges without asset transfers, and helps institutional clients manage digital assets more efficiently through transaction clearing and settlement functions.
Eight Percent is an online peer-to-peer (P2P) lending company specializing in mid-interest rate loans. Leveraging data-driven credit evaluation and risk management capabilities, it connects individual and corporate investors with borrowers of mid to low credit ratings.
Jeulgeoun is a mobile coupon provider that converts products from over 420 domestic brands into mobile coupons through its platform 'Smilecon Admin,' and sells them to more than 500 domestic business-to-business (B2B) clients, as well as on Kakao, social media, and open markets.
Meanwhile, the Korea Fintech Industry Association is a non-profit corporation established with approval from the Financial Services Commission and serves as the largest fintech network in Korea, representing the interests of fintech companies. More than 550 fintech companies leading digital finance innovation in various fields are members.
