In particular, the meeting intensively reviewed 26 proposed special legal provisions identified by all departments and 32 key projects proposed by Yeosu City in relation to administrative integration. The special legal provisions included financial support for industrial crisis areas, while the key projects focused on strengthening industrial competitiveness and fostering new industries.

Starting with this strategy meeting, Yeosu City plans to continuously monitor trends in the discussions on enacting a special law for administrative integration, concentrate on analyzing sector-specific bills and projects, and seek to identify additional response tasks.

Additionally, the finalized tasks will undergo internal review and supplementation procedures, after which they will be formally submitted as proposals to higher authorities, including Jeonnam Province and relevant ministries.

A Yeosu City official stated, "Widespread changes are expected in the region's administrative system, financial structure, and distribution of authority due to administrative integration," adding, "We will respond proactively to ensure that projects benefiting the city and promoting regional development are effectively reflected."

Meanwhile, since the 13th, Yeosu City has been operating a task force led by Deputy Mayor Jeong Hyeon-gu, working with relevant departments to devise sector-specific response tasks for administrative integration.
