TMRW Sports and LPGA Tour Announce Initial Roster
Thitikul, Hull, Henderson, and Thompson Also Confirmed
Lydia Ko of New Zealand will compete in the Women's TGL (WTGL), the women's division of the U.S. screen golf league TGL.
On January 19 (local time), TMRW Sports, which operates TGL, and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour announced, "Lydia Ko and world No. 1 women's golfer Atthaya Thitikul of Thailand, among others, will participate in WTGL." Earlier this month, TMRW Sports and the LPGA Tour had announced that WTGL would launch starting from the 2026-2027 season.
In addition to Lydia Ko and Atthaya Thitikul, five players have been confirmed to compete in the inaugural 2026-2027 WTGL season, including Charley Hull (England), Brooke Henderson (Canada), and Lexi Thompson (United States).
TGL is a screen golf league primarily created by Tiger Woods (United States) and Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), featuring top players from the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA) Tour and is currently in its second season.
TMRW Sports explained, "This is the first group of LPGA Tour players announced to participate in WTGL," and left open the possibility of additional LPGA Tour players joining the league.
