On January 20, GS E&C announced the launch of its integrated service platform for contract customers, "My Xi," which allows customers to manage the entire process of purchasing a home online, from pre-sale to contract and move-in.
My Xi is an online-exclusive service for apartment contract customers. It is an integrated platform that manages everything from contract signing to final payment. Customers can directly handle contract modifications and corrections, interim and final payments, refund applications, and submission of documents related to the transfer of ownership registration, all online. This enables customers to manage the entire contract process themselves, moving away from the traditional reliance on phone calls or in-person service counters.
Additionally, the platform restructures the complex settlement structure of pre-sale payments from the customer's perspective, allowing for intuitive confirmation. GS E&C expects that this will help customers prepare their financial plans more systematically before moving in and will significantly reduce related inquiries and confusion.
The company also anticipates changes at move-in sites. Previously, when moving into a newly built apartment, residents would often line up early in the morning to complete final payment documents and various settlement procedures-a phenomenon known as the "move-in open run." Residents using My Xi can submit the necessary documents in advance and only need to go through minimal verification procedures on the move-in day, saving time and greatly reducing congestion at the site.
Previously, customers could only use post-move-in services-such as advance visit reservations, after-sales services, and community facility reservations-through the integrated lifestyle management application "Xi Home." With the launch of My Xi, which is now available in web form via the Xi website, the range of services available to customers has expanded from the post-move-in phase to include the pre-sale and contract process.
Currently, "My Xi" has been introduced for the first time at the Beomeo Xi move-in site after a pilot operation period, and there are plans for a phased rollout in the future.
A GS E&C representative stated, "My Xi is an extension of Xi's 'customer-centric residential brand' strategy and is a service improved by listening to customers' real inconveniences," adding, "We will continue to enhance the customer experience and strengthen the unique value that only Xi can offer."
