They also exchanged opinions on future directions for improvement.

The main agenda items included: ▲ Establishment of a Gangwon Innovation City Labor-Management-Civil-Government Council (tentative name) ▲ Designation of 'Gangwon Innovation City Day' ▲ Utilization of the Gangwon Innovation City Joint Development Fund ▲ Establishment of high schools within the Innovation City (conversion to co-educational or new schools) ▲ Expansion of express and intercity bus routes passing through Gangwon Innovation City ▲ Measures for operating staff housing (for new employees) for public institution employees ▲ Support for resettlement grants for those relocating to Wonju ▲ Improvement of the operation of the Gangwon Innovation City Development Support Center.

In addition, a performance was held to promote the attraction of the second round of public institution relocations to Wonju. Wonju City plans to continue cooperating for the improvement of residential conditions and mutually beneficial development of the Innovation City through a regular consultation system with relocated public institutions and labor unions.

Chairman Lee Sanghoon stated, "It is significant progress that the demands we have discussed so far are gradually being reflected in systems and policies," adding, "We will continue to work together to ensure the stable settlement of the Innovation City and the successful promotion of the second round of public institution relocations."

Mayor Won Kangsoo said, "Gangwon Innovation City is a future growth hub for Wonju and a key axis for balanced national development," and added, "We will do our utmost to faithfully reflect the agenda items discussed and the voices from the field in municipal administration, so that they lead to the successful attraction of the second round of public institution relocations to Wonju and further development of the Innovation City."
