LG Electronics is expanding its lineup of garment care appliances, covering everything from washing and drying to ironing.

On January 20, LG Electronics announced that it will launch the all-in-one garment care solution "LG System Ironing" on January 26, which combines a steam iron, handy steamer, and styling board (ironing board) into a single product. This product is designed to enhance convenience, allowing users to iron easily while reducing concerns about fabric damage. The fine high-pressure steam quickly smooths out wrinkles without leaving moisture, and the high temperature sterilizes up to 99.99% of harmful bacteria. In particular, the steam temperature can be adjusted according to the material-such as cotton, wool, or rayon-to minimize fabric damage.

To reduce inconveniences such as clothes sticking to the ironing board or wrinkles forming from the iron pushing the fabric during ironing, the product features an "Active Styling Board" function. The fan built into the styling board can blow air to lift the garment or suck in air to hold it in place, allowing even thin and lightweight fabrics to be ironed stably. The cover of the styling board is detachable for washing, and the board can be folded vertically for easy storage.

User convenience in operation and mobility was also considered. The height of the styling board can be adjusted with electronic buttons, and the 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen display on the board allows users to select the steam temperature, air strength, and ironing course. Wheels at the base make it easy to use anywhere in the home.

In addition, LG Electronics recently strengthened its competitiveness in the garment care appliance market by introducing the "2026 New LG Styler Objet Collection" Styler models with 5-outfit and 3-outfit capacities.

The 5-outfit Styler has enhanced convenience by integrating artificial intelligence (AI). The AI learns and analyzes clothing weight data and recommends optimal styling and drying courses based on the weight. The "Dual TrueSteam" feature allows two separate heater and steam nozzles to operate independently, enabling more precise control over the amount of steam released.

The 3-outfit Styler, designed with single-person households and dual-income families in mind, features a slim design that requires only a minimum of 5 mm of clearance on each side for installation. The standard styling course has been reduced from 39 minutes to 29 minutes, and the standard sterilization course from 99 minutes to 64 minutes, enabling efficient garment care even in busy daily life.
