The Haengso Museum’s Museum College has established itself as a leading humanities program in the region, consistently recording high satisfaction each semester.

This year, in particular, the program is expected to offer a new perspective by connecting cultural heritage with modern life through integrative lectures that broadly address food, clothing, and shelter cultures from around the world.

Kim Yunhee, Director of the Haengso Museum, stated, “Food, clothing, and shelter are at the core of universal human culture and are the most intimately connected humanities topics in daily life. I hope this lecture series will provide citizens with an opportunity to broadly understand the diversity and historical depth of world cultures.”

Keimyung University’s Haengso Museum opened on May 20, 1978, at the Daemyung Campus and relocated to the Seongseo Campus in 2004.

Since then, it has hosted major exhibitions such as the British Museum Daegu Exhibition, the Chinese National Treasures Exhibition, the Hungarian Habsburg Royal Family Treasures Exhibition, and the Joseon Royal Portraits Exhibition, continually providing local residents with opportunities for diverse cultural experiences.

Currently, it is recognized as a leading regional museum, housing over 10,000 artifacts, including the Treasure Jinju Fortress Map, premium folk paintings, and relics from the Gaya period.

Participants will receive a certificate of completion jointly signed by the President of Keimyung University and the Director of the Keimyung Citizen Education Center. Additional benefits include invitations to free lectures, priority registration for cultural heritage field trips and social education programs, and invitations to exhibitions and cultural events.

Applications will be accepted until February 28.
