The group EXO will release their eighth full-length album, "REVERXE," on January 19 and will return to group activities as a complete unit for the first time in two years and six months, according to SM Entertainment.
The album will be released in its entirety on various music platforms at 6:00 p.m. on the same day. It features a total of nine tracks, including the title song "Crown."
"Crown" is a hard dance track that combines elements of trap drums, heavy metal guitar, and EDM synths. The lyrics express the determination to protect a precious person, likening them to a crown. The performance incorporates symbolic elements from EXO’s universe, with dynamic choreography that mimics the act of wearing a crown.
Additionally, the album includes the winter song "I'm Home," which was performed at last year's fan meeting, and "Back It Up," which was pre-released on the "MMA 2025" stage. New tracks that explore the pain of separation and the emotions of love through various dance and R&B genres are also included.
EXO will hold a comeback showcase at 7:30 p.m. on the same day at Kyung Hee University’s Grand Peace Palace in Seoul.
