Danal Entertainment Launches Expansive Entertainment Ecosystem Integrating IP, Fandom, Lifestyle, and Platform

Danal Entertainment, a subsidiary of Danal (hereafter referred to as Danal Entertainment), is accelerating its efforts to establish an expansive entertainment ecosystem that organically integrates IP, fandom, lifestyle, and platform elements.

On January 19, Danal Entertainment announced that it had recently signed strategic memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with three partners: the all-in-one digital venue platform "Bigc," the lifestyle brand "Peaches," and the global fandom solutions company "Stagelabs."

This collaboration goes beyond a simple partnership; it is a "hyper-connected strategy" that unites the capabilities of top-tier partners in each field, with Danal Entertainment at the center. Through this approach, the company aims to complete a virtuous value chain for the entertainment business, sequentially linking IP planning and advancement, expansion of lifestyle branding, and global online and offline distribution.

First, Danal Entertainment will work with Bigc to enhance the monetization model for global content IP. Leveraging Danal Entertainment's extensive IP assets, Bigc will be responsible for everything from product planning and design to global platform sales, thereby maximizing product value.

The advanced IP will then be infused with the sophisticated lifestyle branding of Peaches, expanding into the fashion and culture content sectors. As their first joint initiative, the two companies plan to hold a large-scale offline exhibition in Seoul themed around a "globally popular animation," creating a new customer experience (CX) that allows visitors to engage with the IP in a multi-sensory way, going beyond simple viewing.

Furthermore, the finalized IP content will be distributed internationally in collaboration with Stagelabs. Danal Entertainment has secured a massive distribution network by utilizing Stagelabs' "LiNC" service and Japan's largest "e-Print Service" infrastructure, enabling immediate content supply to more than 57,000 convenience stores across Japan. The company plans to target the global fandom through a "Mixed Reality" strategy that breaks down the boundaries between online and offline by offering digital platform benefits to fans who purchase content at local convenience stores.

Hyun Neungho, CEO of Danal Entertainment, stated, "This partnership is an attempt to infinitely expand the vitality of entertainment IP by organically connecting each company's expertise. Through an innovative business model that unites content, fandom, and lifestyle, we aim to leap forward as a global entertainment tech company."

He added, "In addition to this collaboration, we are actively pursuing diversification of our content business as well as entry into the global market."
