Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) will be recruiting participants for the "Computer Proficiency Level 2 Certification Course" from February 3 to March 3, 2026, to strengthen the employment capabilities of women who have experienced career interruptions.

This training program has been organized to expand reemployment opportunities for career-interrupted women by enabling them to obtain relevant certifications.
The course will be held from March 12 to April 10, 2026, at the Northern Vocational Training School (35, Sinheung-ro 258beon-gil, 6th floor), with a maximum of 15 participants. Eligible applicants are women aged 40 to 55 who reside in Uijeongbu City and have basic skills in document creation and Excel.
The curriculum includes: ▲General Computer Skills (Windows and computer usage), ▲General Spreadsheet Skills (using formulas and creating charts), and ▲Practice Exams and Review of Recent Test Questions. The entire tuition fee will be covered. Applications can be submitted in person at the Uijeongbu City Comprehensive Job Support Center with a valid ID.
An official from Uijeongbu City stated, "We hope this course will serve as a stepping stone for career-interrupted women to re-enter society," adding, "We will continue to make various efforts to support women's employment in the future."
