NexaDynamics Prepares for 'K-Branded Entertainment & Commerce' New Business... Appoints Directors and Amends Articles at Shareholders' Meeting

KOSDAQ-listed company NexaDynamics announced on January 19 that it held an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on January 16, during which it appointed Minho Oh as an inside director and Geunwoong Jeong as an outside director, and approved partial amendments to its articles of incorporation (adding new business objectives).


This decision is interpreted as an effort to strengthen the board's capabilities and reorganize the business structure in preparation for the company's upcoming entertainment (content)-based new business initiatives. NexaDynamics aims to leverage its experience in content production and operations, as well as its expertise in AI, to gradually roll out an expansion model that connects content (IP), marketing (advertising), and commerce (distribution and branding) over the mid- to long-term.


The newly appointed inside director, Minho Oh, has accumulated extensive experience in the content sector, including drama and performance planning. He currently serves as CEO of Idea Factory and Yellow Factory. He produced the drama "Alone in Love" using Korea's first pre-production method and is also known to have participated in the recent production of "The Confidence Man KR."


In the performance sector, he has organized concerts in Korea for international artists such as Oasis, Muse, Ennio Morricone, and Celine Dion. He has also planned and operated major festivals like the Jisan Valley Rock Festival, accumulating broad experience across the performance industry.


The newly appointed outside director, Geunwoong Jeong, is recognized as a leading AI content director and AI creator in Korea. He has overseen AI-based visual implementation and direction, as well as AI modeling for character expressions and movements. Recently, he has led various collaboration projects with K-pop artists, and has been involved in the creation, visual design, and direction of the "AI+Human" hybrid rookie artist character "ZISUAI." He continues to form collaborative relationships with various businesses in areas such as album and merchandise production.


At this extraordinary general meeting, NexaDynamics also added content, advertising, and commerce-related businesses to its business objectives in the articles of incorporation. Rather than signaling the immediate launch of a specific business, this expansion of business objectives is seen as the establishment of an institutional foundation to review and pursue diverse collaborations and business models in the future.


A NexaDynamics representative commented, "With this extraordinary general meeting, our board now combines expertise in content production and performance planning with AI-based visual and data capabilities. We will continue to share our progress with shareholders and the market at a pace and in a manner that is understandable, and strengthen our mid- to long-term growth engines through new business initiatives."
