Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Holds 'Complus Day' to Promote Ethical Management

Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance announced on January 19 that it held the '2026 Complus Day' event on January 16 to raise compliance awareness among its employees and promote a culture of ethical management.

This event was organized to spread proper compliance awareness among employees in line with the recent trend of strengthening internal controls in the financial sector.

Complus Day, which was established last year, is a portmanteau of 'compliance' and 'plus', signifying a day for a compliance culture that benefits both customers and employees. This year's event was held under the theme 'Proper Compliance in the Digital Era', with participation from the Compliance Team, Consumer Policy Team, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), and other departments related to internal control.

This event consisted of two sessions: 'Mission, Complus', an escape room-themed activity, and 'Marvin's Choice', which used the English name of Lee Munhwa, President of Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, to deliver messages about compliance management.

'Mission, Complus', held on the 33rd floor of the Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance headquarters, allowed employees to learn internal control standards in an engaging way by participating in various escape room-style booths.

In 'Marvin's Choice', participants were presented with ethical dilemmas and predicted the choices of an artificial intelligence (AI) system trained with specific tendencies and the CEO. This session emphasized the importance of maintaining proper ethical standards and making correct use of digital technologies.
