Kwanghee Lee, President of Standard Chartered Bank Korea, Joins Youth Illegal Gambling Eradication Campaign

Kwanghee Lee, President of Standard Chartered Bank Korea, announced on the 19th that he is participating in the relay campaign to eradicate illegal gambling among youth.

This campaign began in March of last year under the supervision of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. Under the slogan, "Illegal cyber gambling targeting youth is a scam crime you can never win," it is a nationwide relay campaign aimed at preventing youth gambling and raising awareness about its seriousness and dangers.

He was nominated to participate in the campaign by Jeong Sanghyuk, President of Shinhan Bank, and recommended Kang Taeyoung, President of NH Nonghyup Bank, as the next participant.

President Lee stated, "Illegal cyber gambling targeting youth is an issue that requires all of our attention and must be eradicated," adding, "Standard Chartered Bank Korea will continue to fulfill its core financial responsibilities, such as implementing measures to prevent financial fraud, as well as its social responsibility to protect youth and provide financial education so that young people can experience a sound financial culture."
