The Proactive Concert is an internal communication project in the form of a town hall meeting, designed to spread the 'Proactive Culture,' which is the core management philosophy of Hankook & Company Group Chairman Cho Hyunbum. First introduced by Hankook Tire & Technology in 2013, it has been held in small groups by organization for over a decade.

The event included a key message from Kim Hyuncheol, Head of the China Headquarters, followed by updates on major group news, global industry trends, strategies and achievements in the Chinese market. There was also an introduction of new employees and an awards ceremony for outstanding staff, providing an opportunity for open communication across ranks and departments.

This event followed similar sessions held at the Europe headquarters and North American sites in October last year, marking the completion of 'Global Communication Program 1.0,' which targeted major overseas bases of Hankook & Company Group.

Building on the momentum from communication at key overseas locations, Hankook & Company Group will expand its efforts to global sites this year as it launches 'Global Communication Program 2.0.' In the first half of the year, Proactive Concerts will be held at major research centers and factories worldwide to broaden engagement with on-site employees. In the second half, the company is considering expanding the program to include all overseas subsidiaries of its affiliates.

Oh Yunjung, Head of the Group Proactive Culture Team, said, "This event in China provided an opportunity to share the group's core values with employees at global sites and to strengthen communication across the organization," adding, "We will continue to create internal spaces where employees can freely exchange opinions."
