Cadencia Obtains Global Security Certification 'SOC2 Type2'

EMRO, the leading domestic artificial intelligence (AI)-based supply chain management software company, announced on January 19 that its supplier relationship management (SRM) software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, Cadencia, has obtained the global security certification SOC2 Type2.

SOC2 (Service Organization Control 2) is a certification framework established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). It evaluates and verifies whether SaaS and cloud service providers meet five key criteria for customer data management and information security controls: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. This certification serves as an important indicator for global companies when selecting service providers.

Cadencia previously obtained the 'SOC2 Type1' certification in April last year, which verifies that its data management and information security control systems are appropriately designed. With the newly acquired SOC2 Type2 certification, Cadencia has now been officially recognized for effectively implementing these control activities in its actual operating environment.

As the transition of core business operations to SaaS accelerates, the importance of data security is growing even more significant. By obtaining the SOC2 Type2 certification, Cadencia has demonstrated compliance with global security standards. EMRO expects this achievement to further strengthen Cadencia's credibility in the global market and accelerate the expansion of its customer base.
