This project was carried out through HanmiGlobal Vietnam Corporation by renovating and repairing aging homes. One beneficiary resident said, "After the house repairs, there are no more leaks or drafts, and it has become much more comfortable. I am truly grateful to everyone who supported us, as I can now welcome guests during the upcoming holiday." A representative from the village of Cuc Tuoi added, "A resident with an intellectual disability had been struggling to live alone in a dilapidated house, but now they can stay in a much safer environment."

Warm Companion is a non-profit organization established by HanmiGlobal in 2010. Leveraging its expertise in construction, the foundation focuses on its "space welfare" initiative, which aims to improve the residential environments of households with disabilities and social welfare facilities. Since 2017, its support has expanded internationally to include families with disabilities in Vietnam, as well as Korean War veterans’ families in the Philippines, Ethiopia, and T?rkiye. To date, the organization has improved a total of 2,035 spaces-1,925 locations in Korea and 110 overseas.

In addition to residential environment improvements, the foundation also provides advanced assistive devices, creates jobs for people with disabilities, and supports North Korean defectors, practicing sharing to help marginalized groups achieve self-reliance.

Song Pilho, Chairman of Warm Companion, stated, "Space welfare support is a project that tangibly improves the daily lives of families with disabilities and helps them achieve self-reliance. We will continue to expand this initiative internationally through a collaborative model that brings together companies, employees, and local communities."
