For Members of Homeless Households
Applications Accepted Starting January 26
Gimpo City in Gyeonggi Province will be recruiting 60 households as preliminary tenants for the "2026 Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) General Purchase Rental Housing" over a three-day period from January 26 to January 28.
Purchase rental housing is a type of public rental housing in which the Korea Land and Housing Corporation acquires multi-family and multiplex homes, renovates them, and then supplies them to low-income and housing-vulnerable groups at approximately 30% of the market price, allowing them to live stably within their current communities.
The total number of households being recruited as preliminary tenants this time is 60: 30 households for Type 1 (single-person households, exclusive area of 50 square meters or less) and 30 households for Type 2 (households of 2 to 4 people, exclusive area exceeding 50 square meters and up to 85 square meters).
Eligible applicants are members of homeless households registered as residents in Gimpo City as of the announcement date (January 12, 2026), who meet the requirements for either Priority 1 or Priority 2.
Priority 1 applicants include recipients of basic livelihood or medical benefits, eligible single-parent families, households in urgent need of housing support, low-income seniors, and households with disabled members whose average monthly income is 70% or less of the standard by household size. Priority 2 applicants are households with an average monthly income of 50% or less of the standard by household size, or households with disabled members whose average monthly income is 100% or less of the standard by household size.
Applications can be submitted at the local administrative welfare center corresponding to the applicant's registered address. For more details, please refer to the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) call center or the recruitment announcement on the Gimpo City Hall website.
