Establishing a Transparent Management System and Advancing Internal Controls After Change in Management Control
34 Dedicated Compliance Officers Assigned Across Departments Nationwide
On January 19, Namyang Dairy Products announced that it has appointed the '2026 Compliance Support Practice Officers' to strengthen compliance execution at its headquarters and business sites nationwide, and will reinforce its field-oriented compliance implementation system.
This year, a total of 34 Compliance Support Practice Officers have been assigned to business sites and major departments across the country. Their role is to continuously monitor compliance with laws and regulations at each site and to identify and address potential risks at an early stage. Through these efforts, Namyang Dairy Products' compliance standards are applied throughout all work processes, and a culture of autonomous compliance tailored to the characteristics of each site is being spread without blind spots.

Since the change in management control in 2024, Namyang Dairy Products has been gradually advancing its internal control system and improving its organizational culture. The Compliance Support Practice Officer system is also part of this management reform, serving as a strategic measure to establish an autonomous operation system in which the headquarters and field sites manage compliance risks independently.
Along with the appointments, the company also recognized outstanding performers who demonstrated exemplary compliance support activities last year. The Namyang Dairy Products Busan Center, selected as an excellent case, operated a management model suited to field operations by conducting compliance program (CP) inspections tailored to the characteristics of the sales field and providing monthly training sessions on compliance case studies. Lee Sumin, Manager at the Busan Center and award recipient, stated, "As the compliance officer for the business site, I have continued to conduct CP inspections and regular training suitable for field operations," adding, "I have focused on spreading proper compliance awareness in line with strengthened compliance guidelines."
Following the change in management control, Namyang Dairy Products has established a dedicated compliance organization and is operating a Compliance Committee, continuing to take practical actions. In particular, the company is continuously enhancing the effectiveness of internal controls by strengthening compliance training for employees and introducing an ethics management hotline.
Additionally, this year, the company officially introduced the 'Anti-Corruption Compliance Program (CP),' which it had been preparing step by step by participating in the Anti-Corruption Compliance Program Support Project of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. Going forward, Namyang Dairy Products plans to further establish a compliance management system that meets domestic and international standards in accordance with its mid- to long-term roadmap.
Lee Sangwook, Head of Compliance Management at Namyang Dairy Products, stated, "The appointment of Compliance Support Practice Officers is the result of our ongoing efforts to strengthen compliance and ethical management following the change in management control," adding, "We will continue to build a fair organizational culture and become a company trusted by customers and society."
